We are thrilled to announce that we’ve set a date for our first Funky Hair 5K, which will ‘highlight’ Elijah’s many different hair colors he chose to keep his spirits lifted while enduring chemotherapy. The event will take place on Saturday, September 14th at Edison Square with a start time of 9 a.m. The race course will continue through the Winding Walk neighborhood and conclude at Edison Square with an Awards Ceremony to follow.

The Prayers for Elijah Foundation was initially formed by Elijah with the goal to help other families in need, as he saw firsthand how important that was while he was in the hospital himself. Our mission
quickly expanded, and now we are fiercely dedicated to finding treatment options and advancing research for pediatric cancer patients in Elijah’s memory. This event will be key to funding our
mission for the year.

Registered Runners get:
